Delivery

Some lower priced iaito and mogito may be in stock in Japan and can be delivered in around 2-3 weeks. Advanced, intermediate level iaito and mogito are often made to order and are usually delivered within 3-4 weeks, but we always ask to allow around 5-6 weeks. Custom built iaito and mogito may also take around 6 weeks for completion and delivery.

We can deliver to Australia, Asia/Pacific, North America, United Kingdom, Europe, South Africa and parts of South America.

Swords

All the iaito and mogito (practice swords) that are offered on this site are made in Japan by sword craftsmen and are suitable for the practice of iaido. While they look like real Japanese swords, they are made from cast aluminium-zinc alloys, have a blunt edge, cannot be sharpened and are not suitable for any type of contact or cutting practice.

The blades and the fittings are of good quality and well assembled, so they are also suited for display purposes. The cost of iaito and mogito is influenced by the blade and the quality of fittings.

Warranty and returns

All items supplied by Hasuji are guaranteed for quality of materials and workmanship. There is no exchange or refund on iaito and mogito as they are custom made. Our liability is limited to the repair or, at our option, the replacement of the faulty article.

The customer is responsible for the cost of transporting warranty claims to Hasuji. Hasuji will cover the cost of return to the customer from Japan.

Items returned for warranty will only be accepted if authorised in advance by Hasuji.

Warranty claims must be made within thirty days of delivery of the item to the customer.

Payment

Payment can be made with almost any currency from almost anywhere, by using PayPal to pay by credit card. Payments may also be made in Australian currency, by cheque drawn on an Australian bank account, Postal Order or transfer from an Australian bank account.

Disclaimer
